About
Our Club
The Rotary Club of
Lake Norman-Huntersville is a local chapter of
Rotary International, which is truly local and
global in scope. More than 35,000 local chapters
make up the organization, raise charitable funds
and provide assistance to hundreds of local,
national and international programs and
charities. Our goal is to make our local
community better by providing humanitarian
efforts to those in need. Our local programs
include scholarships for local high school
students, student exchange programs, leadership
seminars for tomorrow's leaders (for rising high
school juniors and seniors), and other
charitable projects, most notably, local support
of the Lake Norman Community Health Clinic, Hope House, USO
of North Carolina - Charlotte and Rotary's End
Polio Now campaign. Learn more by visiting our
Beneficiaries from our
Signature Charity Event, the Annual Wine
Spectacular!
Our Rotary Club members share a common interest
in serving others, locally in our community and
internationally. We are a diverse and dynamic
group that is continuing to grow. We enjoy a
special camaraderie at our regular weekly
morning meetings, and in all of our
volunteering, fundraising and social activities.
Where else can you really get to know such a
varied and talented group of individuals? We
hope you will consider learning more about our
club, even becoming a member. Most new members
of Rotary join for Fun, Fellowship, Food and
Philanthropy. But many learn that the rewards of
becoming a Rotarian are much larger than they
ever imagined.
We invite you to be
our guest for breakfast any Thursday from 7:30
to 8:30 AM at Northstone Country Club. A map to
our location is here ---> MAP.
