About the Organization:
”Orphans to Ambassadors
provides disadvantaged and orphaned children the opportunity
to rise out of poverty with sustainable education and
practices. The skills, knowledge and abilities that come
from developing their own long-term resource solutions
empowers children and allows them to become ambassadors of
goodwill and sustainability to other children and
communities around the world“- Jake Gentry, Founder
Orphans to Ambassadors is a little too good to be true.
We’re a young non-profit working with orphans and
sustainable tech to create cleaner futures. Not only does
the technology and education give children cleaner water and
food, brighter and safer energy, and more free time to be
kids we’re also creating renewable foundations in developing
countries where any growth means more technology: the
cleaner now the better later.
What does ‘Orphans to Ambassadors’ mean?
We chose ‘Orphans to Ambassadors’ because the children we
support are fully capable of installing, operating, and
maintaining each technology. These children get first-hand
experience with the renewable tech. and can then share that
knowledge and expertise as they become adults in their
communities. With the right foundations, orphans can become
ambassadors for cleaner and healthier living around the
world.
