Second Annual Spring Wine Cruise
New Date to set sail for the Second Annual Lake Norman Spring Wine Cruise.
A new date, June 3, 2010 has been selected for setting sail
on beautiful Lake Norman for the Second Annual Spring Wine
Cruise. The Rotary Club of Lake Norman Huntersville's is
proud to present and offer specially priced
tickets ONLINE to our Second Annual Spring Wine Cruise.
This event will take place on Thursday June 3, 2010
starting at 6:30 and lasting until 9:30. The Lake
Norman cruise will take place on board the
Yachta Yachta Yachta which sets sail from the
Peninsula Yacht Club located at 18501 Harbor Light
Blvd., Cornelius, NC. This year's event will once again
support
The North Carolina Sailing & Rowing Center of Cornelius.
And as this event is our second annual event, and that last
year's event was a sell-out in just a short time, do not
wait to buy your tickets for this year's event. It is a
great time to enjoy Lake Norman and a sunset cruise
benefitting an outstanding beneficiary.
Larry Vitez of the Sailing Center Said about last year's
event, "The Rotary Club of Lake Norman / Huntersville's Wine
Cruise exceeded my expectations, both in the number of folks
that attended, the money that was raised and the great time
that was had by all".
Like last year, wine and light hors d'oeuvres will be
served. In addition, we will be holding a raffle for some
items on board, so please bring some cash with you to buy
some raffle tickets. All proceeds will benefit The Sailing
Center.

Set Sail this Spring for a
Wine Cruise on June 3rd to benefit the NC Community
Sailing and Rowing Center. As a kick off of this year’s 12th
Annual Wine Spectacular Charity Gala event on October 16th,
the Rotary Club of Lake Norman-Huntersville will embark from
the Peninsula Yacht Club at 6:30 pm. for a 3 hour cruise on
Lake Norman aboard the “Yachta Yachta, Yachta” (www.YachtaYachtaYachta.com)
with delicious hors d’oeuvres and wine. Individual tickets are $30 or $50 per
couple and may be purchased online at

Sailing & Rowing Center

physical challenges associated with the life-long sports of
sailing and rowing.
The Rotary Club of Lake Norman Huntersville (http://www.lakenormanrotary.org)
will be hosting its 11th Annual Wine Spectacular this year
on October 16, 2010. Proceeds have totaled over $ 120,000 to
area charities such as The Lake Norman Free Clinic, Hope
House, The Lake Norman Mobile Dental Clinic, Ada Jenkins
Center and Waymer Center. The Wine Spectacular Charity Gala
features an evening of wine tastings, live and silent
auctions and a champagne diamond raffle.
